- Cancellation
- We refund the deposit minus any actual costs that can no longer be recovered (non-refundable tickets, for example). Full details are in our refund policy.

- Documents
- A passport or ID card — for the train and the hotel. For children, a birth certificate or passport.
On the trip
- Money
- Prices and payments are in UZS. Uzcard, Humo, Visa and Mastercard are accepted in cities; at bazaars and craft workshops, cash is easier.

- Mobile internet works in cities and along the main roads. In the desert and near the Aral Sea, the signal may drop out.
- Clothing
- Comfortable shoes for walking. Shoulders and knees should be covered in mosques and mausoleums; women may want a headscarf.
